Product Information
Fructis Damage Repair Shampoo and Conditioner contains something they call the triple repair complex, a mix of ceramide reconstructors to reinforce hair, AHA to strengthen the core of the fibre, and avocado oil to smooth the surface.
The Damage Repair shampoo was really on the nicer end of shampoos, because it’s hydrating without being heavy in your hair. I’m really big on finding shampoos that moisturize without weighing hair down, and this shampoo was perfect, in that sense. It has a nice, milky texture. Not creamy, milky, which is what I suspect keeps from weighing hair down. The shampoo has that lovely, fresh scent that all the Fructis shampoos have, which is always delightful.
Damage repair conditioner was slightly less stellar, maybe because I was expecting extreme greatness after using the shampoo. As a conditioner it was pretty standard, it does do what it says it’s going to do, which is soften your hair, and make it shiny, with the same pretty Fructis scent. I liked that it wasn’t super heavy like other conditioners can be.
The star product of this line, hands down, was the Damage Repair Mask. It contains Nutritive Micro-oils to repair and condition, as well as AHA to strengthen the core of the hair fibre. I literally, cannot say enough great things about this mask. I was shocked because I was expecting something similar to the conditioner; good, but not fantastic.
